Icecream dude has opened for the season......

Barrie has a wonderful beach property called centential park..

Complete with a big park for the kids.. lots of trails to walk, ryde or blade on. Bathrooms and drinking fountains. there is also a little water park at one end the kids can go splash in as well as a monitored beach area for swimming or just floating about.
There are trees to sit under, even picnic tables for eats.
We will gather by the kids park around 2pm ..

Look for the bright colored ribbons hanging from a tree or stick.
Once we are all settled in.. those that want icecream can trek down the boardwalk to the icecream stand, and those that dont can hang out and yatter.. or go for timmies.. mmmmmm
This will be a casual setting to meet and mingle.. bring the kids.. kites..baseballs.. take the pressure off for a while and enjoy the company of friends.. casual conversations.. etc.

Remember this is a public park..

Directions from Toronto:

Take 400 north to barrie (aprox 45 mins)

once within barrie .. take the Dunlop st exit

Merge onto Dunlop St and continue going straight

Turn Right onto Toronto St ( McDonalds on the corner)

Follow Toronto St right down to the lake. You are here.

Parking is on both sides of the road and either side of the kids park/consession stand area.

Directions from North of Barrie

* Take 400 north to barrie (aprox 45 mins)

* once within barrie .. take the Bayfield st exit

* Turn left onto bayfield street and follow it down to the end.. which is at the lake.

* Turn right at the lights

* Turn left at the lights (huge condo bldg) and follow..

Parking is on both sides of the road and either side of the kids park/consession stand area.
